Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence

Madrid welcomed community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to celebrate diversity and coexistence. The event, promoted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, placed emphasis on intercultural coexistence, religious freedom and respect. The dialogue included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers shared reflections from faith, culture and public service on how open dialogue can help build more inclusive communities.

During the event, participants considered themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Human Rights Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when supported by education and dialogue.
